Tracking flights

with one comment

I am sure that I am not the only one who has been disappointed with the various flight tracking apps out there. Until now, I have always struggled finding a decent program, especially since most links provided by Google are mediocre at best.

Well, there is some buzz about a new flight tracking web app out there. It is called flightstats and returns much better results, graphics, and information than any other tracking app I have ever tried. I suggest you try it out by simply clicking here the next time you want to track an incoming or departing flight.

The site provides FAA ticker updates, gate information, in-flight tracking on Google’s maps, airline information, historical performance data, and much else.

I tried the tool out for various flights that were in-flight, had already arrived, or were leaving the departure airport late and found the app to be extremely helpful and informative. The site is simply a great find!

  1. Thank you so much for your praise Markus, we are glad you like our service. Many users find the historical data particularly helpful in finding out how likely their flight will be on time, or late. We are also very excited about our new FlightStats Mobile so you can even track the real time information while you are en route – or check the status of your connecting flight. Thanks again and happy travels!
