Christmas Break

Going home to Hamburg for the Christmas holiday

I am currently on Christmas break and will spend the next three weeks back at home in Hamburg, Germany.

I got to Germany on Friday afternoon after over 26 hours of traveling. I just returned from a brief one day stint to Munich to visit a great friend/mentor of mine, David Donovick.

But from now on it is all relaxation, christmas cookies and family. Hope all is well. Cheers,

M

Women in Leadership Symposium

leave a comment »

Through conversations with several participants in the Seattle GAMP Trek, I have identified the opportunity to run a pilot symposium, focusing on Women in Leadership.  This panel discussion is to offer Gonzaga University’s partner organizations the opportunity to interact with the female students attending the Seattle Trek, to discuss the challenges and opportunities that women face in today’s business environment upon entering the work force.
Similarly, the Women in Leadership Symposium will offer the attending female students the opportunity to interact with some of the Puget Sound’s most premier female leaders, finding answers to their questions and learning from the panel’s vast experience. The preliminary list of participating companies includes: Microsoft, Google, Accenture, Washington Mutual (WaMu), Boeing, Energy Industries, and Paccar.
